Review
If you’re looking for an extremely easy to use application to decompress RAR files, you’ve just found it. It could be very hard to find something easier to use and less complicated than RarZilla to do that. Why do I say this? Let me explain.
RarZilla is a single window application with no buttons whatsoever. I mean, there are no buttons at all!! Once you installed it on your computer, which by the way is easy and fast and you will be able to choose your language from a huge list, you have three different ways to get this tool to work doing the only one thing it knows to do: decompress a rar file.
You can drag and drop on the RarZilla window the file you want to decompress and the program will automatically do its job and without a word during the process. The second option for you is to click on the file you want to decompress with your right mouse button and select the RarZilla option on the pop-up menu. The result is the same. The last option you have is to double click on the file you want to decompress.
By default, the Desktop is the decompress files location but you can change it with a not very straightforward process which is done from outside the application.
There’s not much else to say about this tool but that is freeware licensed and you can change its skin. Several skins files are available on the Phillip Winterberg’s web site (the developer). |
